ABOUT ME
Originally from Poland, but living in Northern Ireland for over 7yrs.
In 2011 I got a degree in Visual Arts with elements of Art Therapy at the University of Szczecin, which I have used to support my work within the community arts sector since I moved here. Recently awarded with the Art Council Northern Ireland grant this has given me the time to focus on my passion in life.
I find inspiration for my artwork through everyday life. Together with my daughter we are keen explorers of Northern Ireland; from the beautiful charm of the towns and villages to the unspoilt nature of the coastal paths and forests, I am passionate about expressing the colours, textures and emotions through the abstract art, using the movement and colour to convey my ideas.
I am aware of the enormous power of creativity and the feelings it can evoke. I like to believe that art is an independent entity and that the artist’s hands are just a tool to get it out into the light.
My Studio is based in Moira, Northern Ireland.
